Lucky little LuLu! This little girl just escaped a terrible fate! She came into this world as a 4H project, but for some reason she was deemed a loser. So little LuLu sat in her cage, unloved and not cared for when one of our volunteers spotted her being dropped off at a hay and feed store. Her owners were trying to give her away but they did not want her because her hair was a matted dirty mess. LuLu is a fuzzy lop, which means she will have soft long hair, but not if you do not brush it. Our volunteer was paying for her hay and quickly jumped in and said "please let me take her"!!! We took her in and shaved off the mats and put her in a clean and safe environment where she has bloomed into the sweetest little girl you can imagine. We do not know her exact age but we think she is about three months young and we do have to wait a bit longer before she can be spayed. She can be adopted now and we will arrange her surgery when she is old enough. She will require brushing a few times a week as her hair grows out and she really prefers to play inside, most likely due to her scary beginning and she will need an indoor home only.
