My new name is NACHO (previously BunBun), I came from a personal home from San Jose, CA.
The owner emailed us: "I was inquiring if your facility has any openings to take in 1 rabbit.
The rabbit is a brown male Holland Lop (name BunBun) approximately 3-4 years old. It was originally an indoor bunny until I built a hutch in my backyard for him. I carefully sheltered the hutch from rain, wind and sun, the hutch was always in the shade and well ventilated. In the really cold winters, I provided coverage for the hutch as well as a heating pad inside.
BunBun has already been neutered and is litter box trained. He has never been sick or ailing. His diet has always consisted of the appropriate fresh vegetables / hay / water and pellets.
He hasn't had much interaction with other rabbits so he has been alone for quite sometime."
We agreed to help them out & they drove a long way to surrender him at our Petsmart show on April 11th, 2015. He is in a fabulous foster home getting loads of attention & love, learning to be a perfect litl' house bunny. So far he has bonded w/his human foster dad, follows him all over the house & binkies w/excitement!
