On June 28 late afternoon, I received a call from the Monterey County Animal Services stating a nice human just caught a loose baby bunny. This fella was itty bitty, perhaps 6 weeks old. I rushed out & brought him home and he was so scared. But he soon discovered, with deluxe accommodations & delicious meals served, humans are pretty good after all! We transferred him into a caring foster home & after 3 days, foster mom wrote the following: "Bugsy is definitely a gem. He is so curious and very adventurous. He runs around like a little crazy person and loves his food and hay. He even takes big leaps into his cage and even on boxes that I have. These gray eyes are so hypnotizing. He loves pets and loves to be held and put his head under your chin. He will run up to you if you are sitting down and put his head on your leg. I'm falling in love with him more and more everyday!" He fits in the palm of your hand !! BUGSY is ready to be adopted & was neutered Avian in 2014.
